Understanding what happens during your hyperbaric oxygen therapy sessions helps you feel comfortable and confident throughout your treatment journey.
Your first visit includes a comprehensive evaluation, medical history review, and treatment plan discussion with our medical team.
You'll relax in a comfortable hyperbaric chamber for 90-120 minutes while breathing 100% oxygen at increased atmospheric pressure. You can watch TV, listen to music, or rest.
Our trained staff monitors you throughout each session. Most patients require 20-40 treatments, scheduled 5 days per week for optimal results.
You may experience temporary ear pressure (similar to flying) and minor fatigue. Our team teaches you equalization techniques and ensures your comfort.
We handle prior authorization and work with Medicare, Medicaid/MediCal, and most private insurances for approved conditions.
Regular assessments ensure your treatment is progressing well. Many patients notice improved healing and reduced symptoms within the first few weeks.
